Head Coach Dave Webster '88 reflects on historic run, dedicated fan base

The Dickinson team capped off a thrilling 2025 season with a run to the NCAA Division III national championship game, marking a milestone moment for the college and its athletic program.

Led by 13 standout seniors, the Red Devils combined grit, skill and chemistry to reach the sport’s biggest stage. Head Coach Dave Webster ’88, revered longtime leader of the program, said the season will be remembered not only for its on-field success but for the sense of community it inspired.

“When we talk about Red Devil lacrosse, we talk about the family behind it," he said of the hundreds of students, parents, alumni and staff who traveled to Foxborough, Massachusetts, for the game, which was played in Gillette Stadium. "And that family showed up in full force.”
