During National Volunteer Week, Dickinson celebrates the alumni, families and friends who give their time and talent to strengthen the Dickinson community.
“At Dickinson, we believe in the power of community and the impact of our volunteers," says Kim Parker '25, P'19, who, with husband Doug, is chair of the Parents Leadership Coucil. Here they join the college in expressing heartfelt thanks to the thousands of volunteers who continue to make a global impact.
From serving on the Alumni Council and Parent Leadership Council to supporting admissions efforts, organizing reunions, speaking in classes, giving career talks and hosting events around the world, Dickinson volunteers are helping to shape the college’s future while honoring its past.
This year, our volunteers represented 45 states and 23 countries—proof of the far-reaching impact of the college’s network. That global presence continues to grow thanks to the commitment of Dickinsonians who give their time to support each other and the next generation of students.
As Kim says so succinctly, "Dickinson is stronger because of you."
