Come experience the raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest in a way that few travelers ever do. This trip offers an immersive exploration of one of North America’s most spectacular marine ecosystems. From the rugged coastlines of remote islands to the tranquil beauty of old-growth forests, each day unfolds with extraordinary wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes and unique cultural discoveries.   • Explore remote island shores, including the geologically stunning Sucia Island, where you’ll discover ancient fossils and sculpted sandstone formations.
  • Discover diverse landscapes, including Orcas Island, the breathtaking panoramas atop Mount Constitution and the windswept coastline of Lime Kiln State Park, one of the best places in the world for land-based whale watching.
  • Experience Deception Pass from both land and sea. Cruise beneath its soaring bridge amidst the swirling currents, then step ashore to reach panoramic viewpoints overlooking the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

ACTIVITY LEVEL:
Moderate

This program offers a variety of activities, typically not strenuous for guests with average mobility, including skiff rides, hiking and kayaking. Walks and hikes are at a leisurely pace in order to see and learn as much as possible about the region. It’s our expectation that guests are able to walk with good balance and go up and down stairs easily without assistance. Guests should be comfortable boarding small vessels. Altitudes vary up to a maximum of 2,400 feet at Mount Constitution.
