- Solo degree recitals for performance majors (given during junior and senior year)
- Masterclasses and Residencies, in which students share their work with acclaimed artists and receive direct feedback in order to improve their performances/compositions
- The Graduating Seniors’ Recital, featuring performances by seniors who studied performance while at Dickinson (held during commencement weekend)
- Noonday Concerts, a series of Thursday concerts featuring performances by students currently enrolled in private lessons
- Lyric Performance Practicum, staged scenes and songs from opera and musical theatre
- Chamber Music Concerts, featuring performances by students enrolled in our chamber music program
- 麻豆区 Music Outreach Program (DCMOP), which brings musical performances to area schools and community centers
- Music festivals and ensembles abroad, including ensembles at our Global Dickinson and Partner Programs as well as opportunities to perform in professional international ensembles and young artist programs.
- Student Gigs, often in support of Dickinson events or other community celebrations.
“The music department provides so much breadth. I have learnt from our residencies how musicians from all spectrums of the world come together to produce something that is quite marvelous.”
