UPDATED Summer 2025 HUB Renovation Route Maps & Info
With construction underway on Britton Plaza, alternate routes are required to access the HUB. Visit /hubproject to view maps, along with other details, to assist visitors and members of the campus community with navigating the area.
A few highlights:
Currently, exterior stairways must be used to reach the lower level of the HUB. ONLY the College Street entrance offers ramp access to the upper level, and the elevator is located on the west side of the HUB (beside Mathers Theatre).
Both the upper and lower levels can be reached via the Union Station (west) or College Street (east) side entrances.
A throughway in the dining hall will allow access to the other side of the building.

Workday News June 2025 e-newsletter
The June 2025 edition of our Workday monthly e-newsletter, your source for updates and insights about Dickinson’s transition to Workday is now available to view online!
Workday Project Update
During May, our Workday project team completed a major milestone: Customer Confirmation Sessions (CCS).
These sessions ensured that the final designs of our business processes align with the needs of each functional area.
What’s a Customer Confirmation Session?
It’s a walk-through of system configurations and business processes that have been built in Workday for specific workstreams. CCS allows stakeholders to preview how Workday will support their work and provide input before testing begins. Sessions included demonstrations of tasks and processes in key areas:
• Finance: Budget, Endowment, Business Assets, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts,
Expenses, Projects, Gifts and Grants
• Human Capital Management (HCM): Recruiting, HCM Core, Benefits, Compensation,
Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, Learning and Payroll
With CCS complete, the project now moves into End-to-End Testing—a phase where the full system is tested from start to finish to confirm that processes are connected, functioning properly, and ready for go-live this winter.
We’re also building our Change Agent Network (CAN)—a team of volunteers from across campus who will help guide their colleagues through the transition to Workday. Want to stay in the loop and support your department?

Employee Charging - Bookstore & Mail Center
The ability for employees to charge on account will discontinue at the Bookstore and FAS Mail Center, beginning July 1, 2025. This convenience is rarely used by employees and the implementation of the new Workday system would add complexity to the process since it would require additional integrations. The Bookstore and FAS Mail Center both accept cash and credit cards as forms of payment.
