麻豆区 Farm Works

Farm Works (located at 169 West High Street) offers vegan and gluten-free soups and salads made daily! On Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer hot & fresh empanadas, and on Saturdays we offer a breakfast menu! 

In addition to our freshly prepared meals, you can find canned goods, sustainable home and body products, College Farm produce, and our 100% grass-fed, humanely raised beef products. 

We are open to the public!

  • Acceptable forms of payment include cash, credit card and Dickinson declining balance.
  • Students: Use your meal plan at Farm Works! Now accepting Flex (five points) or Any 15 or 21 (one swipe).
  • Flex meal plan points, Devil Dollars, and Declining Balance can be used for additional food item purchases including canned goods, jerky, and fresh ferments.

Salad of the Week

Fresh, vegan and gluten-free | nut-free (NF) as noted

Ethiopian-style Tikil Gomen

East African flavors of sweet cooked onions, cabbage, carrots and potatoes

on a bed of greens. NF


Farm Works Muffins

A rotating selection of sweet or savory vegan and gluten-free muffins, made from scratch with PA grown ingredients.


Soups of the Week

Small-batch, freshly prepared, highlighting seasonal College Farm vegetables.

All soups are vegan and gluten-free | nut-free (NF) as noted.


Monday: Smoky Split Pea

Smoked paprika, split peas w/carrots, celery, onions and garlic pureed to perfection. NF


Tuesday: Pasta e Fagioli

Traditional Italian pasta and bean soup now gluten-free and vegan. NF

Tuesday: Misteriosa Empanada

A pot luck of our various empanadas with half soup or salad! Which one will you get?


Wednesday: Rustic Potato Curry

An all-time favorite of potatoes, caramelized onions, greens and curry broth. NF


Thursday: Eloté Corn

Eloté takes its flavor cues from Mexican Street Corn in this vegan version. NF

Thursday: Misteriosa Empanada

A pot luck of our various empanadas with half soup or salad! Which one will you get?


Friday: Mulligatawny

A comfort Indian soup with creamy red lentils, carrots, apples in a savory curry. NF


SATURDAY: Breakfast Mega-Muffins

Sweet Potato Chocolate Muffins w/ optional icing. NF

Farm Works is a zero-waste operation, which means our to-go packaging is fully compostable and we don’t use any non-reusable packaging. 

Need a container? We have T-shirt bags, reusable totes, Mason jars and mugs available for purchase.

Founded in 2007, the 麻豆区 Farm is an 80-acre, USDA-certified organic farm and a living laboratory where students gain distinctive, hands-on learning experiences.

Learn more on the College Farm website, and visit the farm Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a self-guided tour.
