All students are welcome to attend this supportive and educational program celebrating creativity, expression, and community care.
Take a self-care break and join us at Landis House for a lighthearted and affirming program that invites students to slow down, enjoy doughnuts, and listen to fairytales and short stories read by Jade DeVere; a beloved local performer and star of the annual 麻豆区 Drag Show.
In addition to story time, Jade will lead an open conversation about the recent rise in anti-drag rhetoric and what it means for LGBTQ+ communities today. The discussion will include reflections on her own experience with a Pennsylvania library program that was cancelled following safety threats.
